What's needed

1/2 cup salt

1/2 cup boiling water

1/4 cup cold water

1/2 cup cornstarch (gluten-free)

Let's make it

Pour the salt into the boiling water. In a mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch and the cold water. Add the cornstarch mixture to the salt solution. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. When the mixture is the consistency of stiff cookie dough, remove from heat and let cool. Add food coloring and extracts. Knead until the clay is pliable. Mold into desired shapes.
