Sand Clay
When dry, this clay hard and grainy, like a rock.
What's needed
1-1/2 cups sand
1 teaspoon alum
1/2 cup cornstarch
3/4 cup boiling water
Let's make it
Combine the sand, alum, and cornstarch in the pot. Add the boiling water and coloring. Heat at medium temperature until it thickens. Cool and add extract for a wonderful smell. Air dry for several days.
