Purple Cabbage Food Coloring or Fabric Dye

What's needed
1 cup chopped purple cabbage
water to cover
Let's make it
Combine the cabbage and water in the pot. Simmer for 15 minutes. Crush the cabbage and simmer for 15 more minutes. Strain the mixture and save the cabbage for a soup. Add vinegar for a more pinkish purple and baking soda for blue.
For dye
This dye is blue in color.
