
Low Pesticide Fruits and Vegetables
Research has shown that pesticides and other agricultural chemicals are neurotoxins and can cause disruptions to your neurological system and your brain. This is especially true for families that have members in the Syndrome Mix.
Low Pesticide
These fruits and vegetables have lowest pesticide. Avoid genetically modified (GMO) foods. Enjoy these fruits and vegetables 4 times a day:

- Avocados
- Sweet corn (non-GMO)
- Pineapples
- Cabbage
- Sweet peas (frozen)
- Onions
- Asparagus
- Mangoes
- Papayas (non-GMO. Most Hawaiian papaya is GMO)
- Kiwi
- Eggplant
- Grapefruit
- Cantaloupe (domestic)
- Cauliflower
- Sweet potatoes
- Watermelon
- Mushrooms
High Pesticide
These fruits and vegetables have highest pesticide load. Buy organic or to grow them organically yourself:
- Apples
- Strawberries
- Grapes
- Celery
- Peaches
- Spinach
- Sweet bell peppers
- Nectarines (imported)
- Cucumbers
- Cherry tomatoes
- Snap peas (imported)
- Potatoes
- Lettuce
- Kale/Collard Greens
- Summer squash
These fruits and vegetables may contain organophosphate insecticides, which have been characterized as "highly toxic" and of special concern:
- Hot peppers
- Blueberries (domestic)
